Nautisk Multiservice are experts in compass adjustment (also known as compass adjusting / compass adjusters) as well as preparation of deviation card.
I perform the following within compass direction or compass adjusting / adjustment:
- Authorized Compass Adjustment / Compass adjusters
- Approved compass direction and turn with subsequent export of deviation table with stamp for all vessels/ships throughout Denmark and throughout the world.
- Annual inspection of spare magnetic compass.
- Replacing the magnetic compass. The task must be ordered in good time.
- Top-up of oil in the compass. The task must be ordered in good time.
- In accordance with the Decree Regulations for the Construction and Equipment of Ships, the magnetic compass must be certified and meet the established standards. The certificate must be renewed in the event of repairs to the compass. It is the master’s responsibility that the certificate is valid and that it is available to the authorities at all times.
- Deviation card and deviation table
All ships with a gross tonnage of 150 and over, as well as passenger ships of any size must have a spare magnetic compass that can be replaced with the compass required or equivalent that can perform the functions.
It can take up to three months before the magnetism in a new building becomes constant.
